Your Right to Opt Out
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. KickAbout does NOT sell your personal information and does NOT share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
What This Means
Because we do not sell or share your data, there is nothing to opt out of. We use your information only to operate the KickAbout platform.
Categories of Information We Collect
Identifiers (name, email, phone), demographic (date of birth for age verification), commercial (subscription status), internet activity (in-app usage), and geolocation (game locations only — not device tracking).
How to Exercise Your Rights
You may request: (1) a copy of your personal information, (2) deletion of your account and personal data, (3) correction of inaccurate information, or (4) confirmation we are not selling your data. Contact hello@joinkickabout.app from the email associated with your account. We respond within 30 days.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent. We require written permission and will verify your identity before processing the request.
Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised any of your privacy rights.
Other State Privacy Laws
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights.
